FAQ
How do I register?+
Registration is open now on hacktoberfest.ge and it is free. Sign in, set up your builder profile and connect Discord. It is not a waitlist.
When and where?+
17-18 October 2026 at the Free University of Tbilisi. We kick off Saturday morning and build through to demos and awards on Sunday evening. The venue stays open overnight.
Who can join?+
Anyone who wants to build. Whether you're shipping code every day, designing products, or building software for the first time with AI tools - all builders are welcome. Use any tech stack, tools, or workflows you like.
What accounts do I need to participate?+
Discord is required for every participant: join the official HACKTOBERFEST Discord server and connect your Discord account to your builder profile. It is the main hub for live announcements, mentor support, logistics and team coordination during the event. A Lovable account (lovable.dev) is recommended for everyone, and required to claim the free builder credit stipend and to qualify for Lovable prize tracks and bounties. You can still use any tech stack, tools or workflows you like.
How big can a team be?+
Up to 5 members per team. Coming solo is fine: register on your own, then form or join a team of up to 5 on Discord or at kickoff.
Do I get anything for taking part?+
Digital badges on your profile at hacktoberfest.ge, plus a verified certificate when your team submits a demo.
What should I bring?+
Your laptop, your charger and whatever you need to stay overnight.
